Our beautiful salon is set in a double bay fronted townhouse on Ship Street, in the heart of the famous ‘Lanes’ conservation area. We are a large, open-plan, welcoming space providing the perfect mix of comfort and style for every guest. Beautifully designed, with its own bar, extensive bookshelves, cinema facility and on site Art Gallery and Event space, our salon has been the recognised as the leading name in hair in the city since 2001.
The Brighton team are warm, welcoming and friendly, and highly trained to deliver the highest standards in both cutting and colouring techniques alongside outstanding customer care, says Mark Woolley, owner and Creative Director.
We have achieved some the highest accolades in the industry including British Hairdressing Business Awards and Creative head Most Wanted awards for, Innovation, Training and Team Work, and very proud to be part of the fantastic local community.

Chloe has a keen eye for effortless balayage, stunning blonde makeovers, bold, vivid colours and precision barbering.

Principal Stylist
Originally from Cadiz - Spain, Nar brings with him a true passion for all things hair.
He's known for his energy and presence in the salon, always up for a laugh and a good chat.
When it comes to hairdressing, Nar is a master of textured & curly hair types as well as hair ups and occasion styling.
He has a real passion for transformational work. If you're looking to make a dramatic change, Nar is the stylist for you.
Nar is also our extensions professional, working only with Beauty Works extensions.

Saheed brings nearly two decades of hairdressing experience to Electric Hairdresser Brighton. Skilled in cutting all hair types for both men and women, Saheed's true passion lies in the artistry of colour. He's mastered techniques such as blonde balayage specialist, foilyage, air-touch, and highlights, creating dimensional and personalized looks. Beyond colour, Saheed also offers perming and straightening services as well as Afro hair. His expertise truly shines in the realm of hair extensions, where he specializes in nano, tape, and weft applications, adding length, volume, and enhancing natural beauty.

Junior Stylist

* Visits require a deposit, this will be a percentage of the appointment booking. Bookings can be altered or cancelled up until 48 hours before the visit is due to take place. Cancellations and No Shows within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 100% charge. Bookings altered between 48 hours and 24 hours of the appointments taking place may incur a 50% charge.
