Here's your round up of everything that's been happening over the past month at Electric.

Virtual Electric Sessions

On Monday 19th October (GMT 5pm, EST 12pm, PST 9am) we’ll be hosting our first-ever Live Virtual Electric Sessions. In this 3 hour Cutting and Styling education event, Mark Woolley, DJ Muldoon and Martin Hillier (plus special guests) will showcase winter trends for 2020 and 2021, as well as styles taken from recent shoots and editorials. Using a mixture of live models and dolls heads, Electric education is all about teaching techniques rather than haircuts, giving you tips and tricks you can use the next day on clients in your salons. Email [email protected] for information about joining this online event.

London Fashion Week video

Electric Founder & Creative Director, Mark Woolley, recently worked with On|Off, creating the hair in this digital presentation: ‘All Power To The Imagination’ for London Fashion Week. On|Off premiered this fashion film, dedicated to dance and talent, starring Yos Clark and directed by Lee Lapthorne. Yos showcases the work of eleven next-generation young designers in this fashion film that values talent, wherever it comes and in whatever conditions it has thrived. The video has been featured by Vogue Italia.

ES1 Work Station

Check out this sneak preview of Electric’s latest innovation: the ES1 Work Station. We are currently in the process of designing a unique, flexible, hand-built, portable stying unit. The ES1 will allow a stylist to find an optimum position for both the comfort of themselves and their client, whilst allowing our salons to become multi-functional spaces for education and events. The double-sided design is built with the atmosphere of the salon in mind and will allow us to transport them to other venues for the option of pop-up events.

VIP Mezzanine Salon at Falmer Court

Work at Falmer Court continues as the latest project began to build a functional salon within the Great Thatched Barn. The salon will be used for both VIP clients and to complete hair for shoots, events and catwalks. The space for the salon is positioned to the top of the barn at a mezzanine level after restoring the barn’s original spiral staircase.

#WeAreElectric campaign

Last month we launched a campaign to celebrate the talent and creativity of the #ElectricFamily. Stylists in the Electric salons and ambassadors from around the world have the chance to submit photos and videos featuring an Electric product. The winners of the best shots will have their image recreated with a professional model and photographer and will be the image used for our next advertising campaign in Creative Head magazine.
