Earlier this month the Electric Art Team partnered with world renowned session stylist Johnnie Sapong backstage at several London Fashion Week Men’s shows. Johnnie has been described by The Sunday Times as 'probably the best hairdresser in the world' and is one of the most respected global creative hair advisors. He worked with several members of the Electric Arm Team across the weekend and used the styling products from the Electric Professional Range to create the desired looks.

Per Götesson 

Hair inspiration: 

Return to the roots while also expanding his world. Per Götesson’s man dreams of travel, experiments new forms and learns from traditions. Working with each model’s individual look, the hairstyle is natural effortless. Working on volume, the hair is controlled but with a natural vibe.

Step by step:

1. To prep, use Electric P*-4 Preparation Spray directly on hair and work the product with hands from roots to ends. 

2. Apply a generous amount of Electric ºC-2 Smoothing onto the hair. Diffuse dry to refresh the hair. 

3. Once dry, use Electric ºC-4 Shaping Paste to achieve definition and create separation and depth between locks.

4. Alternatively, use Electric ºC7 e.Sprayspray it into the palm of the hands and work the product onto the hair to break up the ends.

5. Finish the look using Electric °C-1 English Rose Serum for a photo-finished effect.

The collection suggests "self-preservation”, which is felt as, fundamental in these uncertain time. The hair is extra voluminous, structured, built up to evoke  the feelings of human beings who are going through dark times and hoping for a new birth.

Step by step:

1. To prep, use Electric P*-4 Preparation Spray directly on hair and work the product with hands from roots to ends. 

2. After drying the hair back, start to back comb each sections using a bristle brush; apply a generous amount of Electric ºC7 e.Spray and keep back combing

3. For curly hair: after prepping the hair, apply Electric ºC-2 Smoothing Cream and dry the hair back.

4. Brush the backcombed hair back and fix the voluminous look with a touch more Electric ºC7 e.Spray

5. To create a structured look, mix of water and clay powder together and apply to the hair to a messed up distressed effect

Alpine journey involves consideration to the environment and changing behaviour towards the planet. Like Robert Redford in the 70s, the hairstyle is eclectic, sophisticated, but still looking natural. Groomed with an edge, this gentlemen has a strong British touch.

Step by step:

1. To prep, apply a generous amount of Electric P*-4 Preparation Spray directly on hair and work the product with hands from roots to ends. Blow-dry the hair.

2. Apply a cocktail mix of Electric ºC-4 Shaping Paste and new Electric °C-1 English Rose Serummix it on the palm of the hands and apply it to get definition with a glossy, slick finish.

3. For curly hair, apply also Electric ºC-2 Smoothing Cream to tame frizz, coarse hair.

4. Finish by spraying Electric ºC7 e.Spray for a long lasting hold.
